Challenge Exploration Program (1st Year)
- First-year students enter without declaring a major and complete courses across five required areas and a range of electives.
- The elective curriculum offers a broad selection of humanities courses modeled on a liberal arts college education, with an emphasis on developing each student's creativity.
Major Program (2nd~4th Year)
- Rule of 14: Credits in the primary major are limited to 42 credits, equivalent to fourteen three-credit courses. By actively encouraging students to take courses in other fields, the system provides a foundation for interdisciplinary education.
- Continuous Education: Education in the humanities, social sciences, arts, and physical education continues throughout the undergraduate program.
- Flexible Academic Systems: Students may freely pursue a double major, an advanced major, or a minor.
- Double Major : Students must satisfy the minimum major requirements applicable to their year of admission, including any courses specifically required by the second major.
- Advanced Major : Students must satisfy the minimum requirements for the advanced major, including any courses specifically designated by the relevant field.
- Minor : Completion of at least 15 credits in a field outside the student's primary major.
* The same curriculum structure applies to students in the Department of Semiconductor Engineering from the first through fifth year.

The "Outside Quota" figures refer to recruitment for the Department of Semiconductor Engineering.
1) The outside-quota places are allocated to the Department of Semiconductor Engineering.
- The Department of Semiconductor Engineering operates as an integrated bachelor's -master's program consisting of 3.5
years of undergraduate study and 1.5 years of master's study.
- Applicants wishing to enter the Department of Semiconductor Engineering must select the department as their preferred
academic unit when submitting their application.
- During the selection process, applications are evaluated together, without separate evaluation based on whether they
selected the School of Humanities and Social Sciences or the Department of Semiconductor Engineering.
- Upon the announcement of final admission decisions, successful applicants who selected the Department of Semiconductor
Engineering will be assigned to that department. However, if the department's quota is exceeded, some applicants may
instead be assigned to the School of Humanities and Social Sciences.
